Bio-Way Farm

Chickens on Bio-Way Farm
  • Bio Way is a USDA Certified Organic market farm growing vegetables, mushrooms, and some fruit near Ware Shoals, SC. The farm evolves on permaculture principles as we strive to serve our customers, our region, and the land. We farm on 5 acres of the 120-acre farm with the remainder in old-growth forest and managed for biodiversity. We’ve owned the land since 1987, moved here in 1999, and started the farm in 2004. We are a longtime vendor at the TD Saturday Market in downtown Greenville, SC. We run a small CSA and sell to many of the farm-to-table restaurants in the Upstate. Our produce is available to retail at Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery. We also have an honor system farm stand. We host WWOOFers year-round via WWOOF-USA.

From time to time we host on-farm events that you can learn more about on social media and our website. We also have an AirBnB cabin for rent.

Bioway is particularly great at growing specialty produce and we really appreciate the attention to permaculture and sustainability. Bioway is also great at supporting local food movements in general and helping get more food in the hands of the consumers.
